BET Casting New Actors For The Game To Replace Melanie & Derwin

Well as you probably know by now, Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall have been AXED by ‘The Game’ on BET. I believe it was because they were the highest paid two on the show  & BET believes they can find new stars that will accept a lower pay. Anyways, even though Tia & pooch won’t be returning, that just might not mean their characters are gone too.

It looks as if the producers are looking for actors to replace Tia & Pooch to play the roles of Melanie & Derwin.

Unbelievable right?

TheYBF breaks it all down below:

According to reports, instead of just filling in 2 new actors to the Melanie/Derwin roles, the writers are pulling a “Single Ladies” and casting two new actors–one male and one female–to play different roles that will run parallel to the Melanie/Derwin storyline.

With Tia Mowry leaving the show, producers are looking for a new female actress to join the cast in the regular role of Kiera, a 20-year-old former child star who has been in the spotlight since she was five years old and starring on a “Cosby” style sitcom. According to the casting call, she’s bright and charming, but struggling into transitioning into a grown-up career.

Kiera isn’t the only newbie in town! Another series regular will be hired to play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbook – a #1, Ivy League draft pick running back who breaks every “dumb athlete” stereotype. He’s not only got a Heisman Trophy, but he’s usually the smartest guy in the room — which sets his new teammates on edge.

I don’t know what’s going on with this show. I don’t watch it  (so i really don’t care), but i’m sure some of you want to be in the know.

Anyways, BET this is all a bad idea. Y’all just need to go ahead and pull the plug on this show altogether & give your viewers some programming with some substance.
